Web Site Article Promotion - How to Effectively Promote Your Articles Online

Web site article promotion is, in my opinion, one of the least used traffic building tools around, and yet I think that it holds some of the highest amount of potential online. Web site article promotion has incredible potential for the future, and can stimulate incredible growth right now, today, in your online web site promotion efforts.

Why do so few use article promotion for their web site promotion efforts? I think that one of the biggest reasons is that it is one of the few things left on the internet that cannot be effectively done by a computer, and it is incredibly difficult to quantify exactly what makes one article pull and another not there are just too many factors, including the fickle nature of the online reader.

So how do you effectively use article promotion to put your web site on the internet map?

1) Web site article promotion tip #1: You must write articles that appeal to the buyers of your web site products. Articles are time consuming to write, so you might as well get the maximum punch out of each article you write. Send an email to your customers and find out what they want to learn more about; those topics make great article topics.

2) Web site article promotion tip #2: Submit your articles to about 100 article directories once per month (1-2 articles per month to 100 directories is plenty). Then submit all the rest to the article directories that have pageranks of at least 6.

3) Web site article promotion tip #3: Use the maximum allowable number of backlinks that are permitted by each article directory. Use different urls for each link.
