Article Marketing - What You Must Do To Make The Reader Want What You Are Offering 1

Q: How do you write an article that makes the reader feel like they must have what you are offering?

A: This is a really good question because so many article marketers and internet marketers mess this one up.

We all know what it is like to get hit over the head with a hard sell. For example "You must get this latest product or you and your family will starve!" is just a bit unattractive and off-putting.

Here is a set of letters that can help you lead the reader to take the actions you and they both want to take for their success.

AIDA

AIDA stands for Attention, Interest, Desire and Action. Let's take a closer look -

Attention - You get the readers attention with the headline. The best way to do this is to include benefits in the headline. "Make the Reader Want What You are Offering" is a nice benefit in the title of this article.

Interest - You get and keep the readers interest in your article description and in the beginning of the article body. Define the problem and suggest that you have some immediately useable answers.

Desire - In your article body, offer the what and the why of fixing the problem, and some of the how. Offer a useful solution and talk about the benefits of your other solutions.

Action - This is where most article marketers drop the ball. They do not ask the reader to do anything. In your resource box, include a call to action that invites the reader back to your web site for more of your solutions.
