Best Email Marketing - 7 Best Ways to Create More Money In Article Marketing

Article marketing continues to make wonders in terms of generating traffic for various websites. Most webmasters agree that it is one of the best tools in pulling up search engine ranking and making their site more popular and frequently visited. If you'd like to use article marketing so you can create more money from it, here are the best ways to do it:

1. Write more quality, meaningful articles. The first step to article marketing is writing numerous articles that will show your expertise on your chosen field. Remember, each article will represent your or your company, so they better offer valuable and credible information that will make readers trust you.

2. Prepare a killer resource box. Your resource box must be compelling enough to make your readers click your website's URL. It must contain your name, your website address, and your call for action.

3. Make your articles scannable and easy on the eyes. Don't submit lengthy articles that will surely bore your readers. Instead, submit articles that run 250-500 words that are full with information and juicy details that your readers are looking for. Make your articles scannable by using bullets or numbers when you are presenting steps or tips. You can also use sub topics.

4. Submit your articles to major article submission sites. To date, there are more than 200 hundred article submission sites but only half of them generate good traffic. Don't waste your time submitting your articles to those that cannot help you increase your site's popularity, instead focus your energy to the ones that can promise you huge number of visitors like ezinearticles.com.

5. Make your landing page compelling. Once you have successfully drove online users to your website, make sure that it functions well and offers readers what they are looking for. It may be more information or the products and services that you are offering.

6. Use the traffic to your advantage. Once you have done all of the 5 tips, you'll be sure to get more traffic to your site. Use this to increase your sales and profits. Offer your visitors with the products and services.

7. Make money from the traffic you have created. To convert your traffic to instant cash, you can sell space on your webpage to various advertisers. If they see that you're generating enormous traffic, they won't think twice in posting banner ads to your webpage.

How to Use Article Marketing to Get High-Profile Exposure on Sites like Google News

With Google Universal Search's integration of several types of web content into the main search engine, an opportunity now exists for you to snatch up better search engine results faster, if you're quick. One of those ways is by combining article marketing and Google News. Submitted through the right publication, article contents get into Google News faster, and for the right queries they can rise to the top of results faster.

The first thing that you'll need to do is get your article into a publication that is featured at Google News in your market. This is a lot harder than the hype surrounding the situation would make it seem. Submitting to a publication that shows up in Google news usually means going through a review process for each article - there's no guarantee that you'll get in. You must look at the big picture. You'll need to write an article that has the best odds of getting good placement, showing up for searches on your name as well as your keywords (which becomes vastly more important when you become well-known), and other factors which will affect how far the reach of your article is.

One resource that has a long-standing record of getting published in Google News is American Chronicles. You must apply to be an author, and not everyone gets in. Heighten your chances by writing a great article.

The second thing you'll need to do is write something that would achieve not just appearance in Google News, but circulation beyond it. You want people to be quoting your article and passing it along to their friends and colleagues. In other words, you need a great topic. One tip: test your article at EzineArticles.com. If the editors there won't accept it, then you're not ready. If they do, when people recognize your name, they'll have a place to go to re-publish your work.

The third thing you need in order to get your articles published on high-profile sites like Google News you have to is find a way to tie your piece into a recent event, in a niche youre well versed in, with a style people can learn from and relate to - then if you can bring them from the article to your site, youre pretty much set.

This is building on a tip Ive given before, namely, write about something thats on everyones mind already. Find a way to tie your tip, news, opinion, review, etc, into what everyone is chatting about by the virtual water cooler.

But heres the spin.

Dont just talk about what everyone else is talking about. Go from a different angle, take a different opinion than the prevailing one, use a different style.

For example. You can write about that fact that Google is doing something new, like when the Google Sitemaps program started.

OR you could write about how webmasters can take advantage of Google Sitemaps. And what is the easiest point of entry. Or mistakes to avoid.

With me now? You want your article to be more interesting, compelling and useful than the next persons. As you begin to get more exposure, youll find yourself published in the places that give you much more publicity for the same amount of work.

There's Fast, And Then There Is Effective - Guess Which One Will Make You The Most Money?

In my last article, I suggested that you can change the world by writing articles that make a difference to you. Also in that article, I said that if you want to write more articles, then you should read more articles. It seems like there are two ways to do everything on the Internet: the fast, easy, massive powerful way, and the right way. Now, if at this point you are thinking why are those three sentences all in one paragraph, and does this maniac think he is going to be able to pull these three different things together. The answer is *Yes,* and in less than 10,000 words too... Let's get started.

When I first started online, I was fortunate enough to be taught to start with a content website. After learning about search engine optimization (SEO), keyword content, authority sites, and back links, I knew I needed to submit articles to article directories so I could built back links to my site, helping me give my site more credibility and increasing my rankings in the search engines.

I was taught that I was not to expect the articles to bring traffic to my site, but that it was the links I wanted for better search engine rankings. (I no longer believe that last statement.) I was also taught that it was better to pick specific directories that were actually related in theme and content to the theme and content of my website.

So, what did I do, I came across and ad that said I could have my article submitted to over 500 directories in less than a day. In case you have not noticed, I am the kind of guy that thinks if two aspirin are good, then ten must be better. I also want to say, that in my training they did teach that SEO was not a fast process, but that if done correctly, it was a lucrative one. Anyway, I thought I was going to jump right on the fast track and get two or three of my articles posted in over 500 directories, and this would bring hundreds of people to my site, and that the search engines would want to put my site to the top of the page, do not pass go, do not collect 200 dollars.

Well, like I said, there is the fast, easy, massive powerful way, and then there is the right way. Guess what, I did not get much traffic, maybe 3 or 4 visitors, and I did not get my article posted on hundreds of directories. Did I mention that deep down inside of me a little voice was saying, if everyone did this, there would be millions of worthless articles stored on hard drives that would serve no purpose except to create back links? Then the little voice said, if millions of people did it, it would be valueless to the search engines or anyone else. Let's contrast that to what I am doing now.

Now I am trying to write 30 articles. I have 21 active articles on ezinearticles.com. I have had about 300 people read these articles and about 10 of them have been published elsewhere by I don't know who. I have personally read about 50 to 60 articles in this directory myself. I really like this article directory. I have confidence that my articles bring value to my readers and to the directory, because I write about things that I think are honestly interesting and important.

When I finish writing 30 articles, I plan on making keyword content videos out of some of them and posting those videos on YouTube with back links to my site. I have my profile filled out on ezinearticles.com and my picture posted. I did a search to see if I could find any of my old articles, and I found one in a directory that I never heard of and it has been viewed 5 times and although it did have my resource box, all it had in the profile was my first and last name. I surprised that I haven't had a hundred people call me off of that one article aren't you?

Once I get these 30 articles written, I may do some research and pick a few more directories and post some of them with those. I will read articles and do a little research before I pick those new directories. Now, ask yourself one simple question. If everybody did it the way I did it the first time, who would benefit? Now, ask yourself another question, if everyone started with one directory completely filled out their profiles, read several articles from different authors before carefully writing articles of their own giving their unique perspective and then actively participated and contributed to another directory a few months later, who would benefit? Like I said, there is the fast, easy, massive powerful way, and then there is the right way. By the way, if you look closely, you might be able to see how you can change the world with one of these methods.

Article Marketing - Click Throughs VS Target Traffic - Thin or Think Articles

It appears that a very large percentage of the article authors who write on the top online article submission sites are more interested in click-through traffic. This is why they write articles and why they post on article marketing sites, as that is its original purpose of such sites.

Indeed, someone writing better articles can perhaps gain the perception of expert and then get more targeted traffic. There of course is that issue of targeted traffic VS traffic. Still I find that debate interesting because if you have an article with 75,000 views and one with 300, then you will as a percentage get more sales on your website from the one with 75K article views, simple percentages and click through rates, sure the click-through rate maybe less than 1/2 or 1/3 but with that degree of difference - who cares.

You have the traffic and a percentage of those will become buyers you see? Thus if I write a "trite" article about the "10 Most Popular Hair Style for 2007" which I did and if it gets 75,000 article views which it did, I still come out ahead no matter how you slice it.

So, you can see the incentive of thinly written, trite content does pull on one's reality if their goal is solely to get traffic. My goals are not traffic anymore and I do not often write silly articles like that, as it was more of an experiment for me, the subject simply does not interest me, and I could care less "What Paris Hilton Eats for Breakfast in the LA Jail," but you can bet someone who writes that article today, will rock with traffic in the future. Think on this, I did and that title is now taken.

List Building: Organizing to Take Care of Your List

So, you've bought hundreds of ebooks and other digital products over the years. Now, you've been list building and are starting to have a great list. You want to show them your appreciation. But you're having trouble finding ebooks, reports, and programs you want to send their way. How can you organize them for easy access?

Some of the products probably have reprint and master marketing rights. You may even want to sell those to your list, rather than offering them as bonuses, right? Or, you may want to use them as a bonus for another product you want to sell to your list. That's a great idea, too.

So, here's what you do:

First, go to Google, and find Google's Desktop Search and download it. It allows you to use Google to actually search whats on your hard drive. When you install it, it takes a while to index everything, but the cool part about it is that its much faster than doing a traditional search, just using your computer. Google Desktop Search doesnt have to research everything, every time because everything is already indexed.

To find your ebooks, search for all your ".pdf" documents. Then make a folder inside youre My Documents folder called ebooks. If you know that you own ebooks on affiliate marketing, list building, conversion, basic business or other categories, make those folders ahead of time. You can even make resale rights, re-brandable rights and public domain rights folders. Move everything to where it needs to go. Thats it. Its done. You can probably do it in an hour.

I have hundreds and hundreds of books and things on my computer. The truth is, I dont have them organized. My stuff is all over the place. When I need something for my lists or otherwise, I do a Google Desktop search and find what I need. Its okay to be disorganized. But, if you take faster action than everyone else, you win. Definitely dont worry about being disorganized. If youre not naturally very organized, I wouldnt fight it too hard.

My Personal Methods Of Tracking And Testing Articles Part 2

If I submit one article personally to 25 article directories, and in two weeks find I have 1000 copies of my article online, but I pay a submission company to submit a different article for me to the same list of 25 article directories, and after two weeks there are only 100 copies of my article online - I can be reasonably sure that article submission company has not done all the work they have billed me for.

The same method can be used to test different article directories, groups of directories, or different article distribution services.

Another method I use for testing my article traffic is by using a combination of multiple landing pages and my autoresponder service.

This is a little more intricate, and takes a little more time to set up, but it gives me very accurate statistics for exactly where my traffic comes from, and I can target it to the exact article or article directory, if I so choose.

Sometimes I am asked why I dont just use a tracking service to track my traffic, and that is a fair question, and I will answer it before I explain how I do my own testing.

There are two primary ways to track incoming traffic effectively: by creating tracking links which are assigned to specific traffic sources, or by using cookies that track each visitor to a page.

The drawback to using tracking links is that if you write and submit hundreds of articles and they are picked up by perhaps thousands or even tens of thousands of web sites, and they all contain your tracking links, then you are pretty much unable to ever leave that tracking service without leaving your links behind. I am simply not willing to give a tracking company that much control over my traffic.

The primary drawback to using cookies is that they do tend to expire or be deleted. This is generally not a problem for the type of testing of article traffic that I am discussing here, but since I also use my system to track sales funnel origination for my sales, I want to be able to track those sales for a longer period of time than is reasonable with a cookie system.
