Article Marketing - Where Should You Submit Your Articles?

One of the questions I often get about article marketing is where should the articles be submitted to. There are often two choices:

1) You can submit them to your own blog/website

2) You can submit them to article directories

Personally, I would submit my articles everywhere, even on forums. It doesn't matter. If you choose to rewrite them when you submit them to different places, then that is ok. Submit them everywhere to get maximum leverage out of each article.

While content is important, if there is no traffic, nobody is going to read it. So definitely look at building backlinks. You don't exactly need tons of content to get the spiders coming. But you do require tons of backlinks to increase your search engine rankings. And the more backlinks you have, the better off your website will be.

What I'd suggest is that for submissions to your own website, add your content in gradually on a weekly or fortnightly basis. This gives the search engine spiders fresh content to spider, so that will keep your search engine rankings high.

For article directories, I'd suggest submitting to the top directories. If you want to generate hundreds or even thousands of backlinks, then use an article submitter like Submit Your Article. Article Marketer is another submitter worth checking out. They will submit your articles automatically all around the web, giving you maximum exposure.

So that's my blueprint for submitting articles. And it's been generating a full-time income for me. Try it out and see how it works for you.

Linking Myths Exposed

In this article I would like to cover some of the linking myths that exist on the internet. Please note that this is based on my own personal experience. Once you understand these you will learn how to get good quality search engine traffic without paying for it.

You may be wondering if reciprocal links still work? Let me tell you in my experience what has happened. On one of my websites I had a reciprocal links page and for some reason Google did not like this. My rankings suffered heavily and I decided to remove this. After I removed the reciprocal links page I recovered my rankings.

So based on my experience I do not recommend this strategy at all as it is likely to hurt your search engine rankings. I think if you are a very old website like at least 5 years old then this may still be beneficial. However, for newer websites Google has got a lot stricter criteria that you need to meet. If you have a few links that are from very reputable websites pr 6 or higher and they are related to your theme then this may help your rankings. However, in most cases you are better off getting one way links to your website as it does not matter on which websites they appear.

Getting links from many directories will boost your rankings. This is a really exaggerated myth. In the older days 2004 and earlier all you needed was a link from Yahoo and Open directory with a few links from a few other reputable websites and you would get very good search engine rankings. These days a link from a directory like Yahoo or Open directory counts towards a link from any other website. So you only really need a link from these two directories. The other directories will not really help your rankings in Google, but will have a positive effect in Yahoo and MSN.

Getting one way links to your website is the best bet for good search engine rankings. The best way to do this is article marketing.

Breakthrough Article Marketing - Revealed - 4 Popular Ways to Increase Your Article Marketing

Article marketing is considered as one of the best content-based marketing solutions in the internet today. It is commonly used by marketers to distribute information to their potential clients to build rapport and establish their expertise on their chosen niche. In return, they get quality inbound links for their website that help them to pull up their search engine ranking and increase their website traffic.

Here are the 4 popular ways to increase your article marketing:

1. Hire ghostwriters. You don't have to do the legwork. You can hire competent and reliable ghostwriters who can provide you with great, well-written articles for reasonable prices. Don't know where to find great ghostwriters? You can simply visit various freelancing sites. Although you will need to shell out your precious dimes in this technique, you can surely buy yourself more time that you can use to better promote your products using other marketing and promotional techniques.

2. Automate your submission. Manually submitting your articles to hundreds of article submission sites and directories can take a lot of time and energy. Thus, I recommend using automatic submission software that can electronically distribute your articles in just few seconds.

3. Widely publish your articles. Be aggressive in posting your articles online to better connect with your potential clients. Aside from publishing sites, you can also post your articles to blogs, forums, social networking sites, and on your website. You can also use them when you publish your ezine or create your own ebook.

4. Bank on your content. To increase the chances of your articles being read and widely republished, make sure that they offer valuable and useful information. In addition, they must also be well-written, direct to the point, easy to understand, and fact-based.

Article Marketing - Discover 3 Proven Secrets to Jumpstart Your Article Marketing

Driving traffic to your website cannot get easier these days. With the advent of article marketing, you can just write and distribute your articles online and watch quality traffic going to your site. Is there a catch? There is none - as long as you are able to create useful, informative, and content-rich articles, you will easily build trust among online users and effectively convert them to potential clients.

Here are the 3 proven secrets to jumpstart your article marketing:

1. Always start your articles with attention-grabbing titles. Your articles, no matter how well they were written will be left unread if they are unable to stir attention at first glance. You see, online users have so many articles to choose from when they are searching for information online making it quite challenging for writers to stand out from the rest. But you can get ahead of the pack by utilizing titles that are irresistible, intriguing, and striking.

2. Bank on your first paragraph. Your task in grabbing the attention of online users doesn't end with your titles. You need to learn how to hold their interest to compel them to read on until they reach your resource box. How? By making your first paragraph meaty and informative as much as possible. Throw in all the juiciest details on the first 100 words of your articles to keep your readers engaged.

3. Your articles must be well-written. Online users are not only looking for valuable information when they read articles online. They are also looking for something that is coherent, easy to understand, and flows well. Thus, you need to make sure that your articles are free from run-on sentences, inconsistency on your tenses, grammar and spelling errors, and lots of fillers.

Article Marketing For Bloggers - 4 Tips To Build Traffic For Your Blog

Bloggers blog. Thats what they do. A blog is short for weblog and its really an online journal that can be updated easily and frequently without any knowledge of HTML code.

Traditionally, article marketing has been used by authors who are promoting their books or information products. Lately, Ive noticed a growing trend of bloggers using article marketing to grow the traffic to their blog and you should too.

Three reasons why it makes sense for bloggers to engage in article marketing:

1) Youve already got a lot of content produced in each of your blog posts. 200 words should be your floor for each article that you produce. In some cases, you already have enough words per post to create 10-50 articles instantly. If you dont, then stitch posts together of a similar theme until you have 200+ word articles to put into article marketing distribution.

2) A blogger has the same traffic building problems that any typical website has, and therefore article marketing can help your blog in the same ways it can help a non-blog website. Benefits include qualified traffic coming to your site year round, quality backlinks being built without any messy recip-linking campaigns, and youre expanding your reach to other experts that might not otherwise have found your blog.

3) Bloggers by nature are more Internet savvy than your typical author. With this said, most bloggers already understand how to create revenue with pay per click (PPC) advertising programs. As such, you already know how to produce keyword intelligent titles for their articles. This guarantees maximum traffic impact for each of your articles.

If you are already a blogger and are new to article marketing, heres how you get started:

1) Produce a cache of 10-25+ articles from your existing blog content.

2) Submit them to the major article directories and any that are niche-relevant to your field of expertise. You may also wish to submit them to ezine publishers directly from your niche.

3) Rinse and repeat until you have 250-1,000+ articles in distribution this year. Hire a college student or editor if you dont have time to get this strategy into practice as itll be well worth it.

4) Watch your traffic counter slowly rise, day by day as your articles work hard for you delivering qualified traffic to your website year round.

Article Marketing as a strategy will not break your traffic counter on your first month of investing in this strategybut, I guarantee if you engage in this strategy, your blog will grow in traffic and popularity beyond the traffic you were already creating by simply blogging. You knows, you might even increase your sales, land a new job, or improve your rank in the search engines as a side-benefit from your article marketing strategy.

Article Marketing - How To Write A Good Article

Article marketing is not about writing excellent articles. It's about writing good articles. Articles that will intrigue your reader and give them valuable information. This is the art of article marketing. You need to learn that your articles don't have to be works of art in order to become successful.

If you want to write a good article, just stop thinking. Write. Just write. Don't stop and think. Just write. The more that you write, the better you'll become. That's all there is to writing a good article. Don't listen to all the hype telling you how to write your article step by step. This is a waste of time! Just start writing. Your not going to get any better reading a bunch of ebooks telling you how to create the perfect article. This is rubbish! Articles are not suppose to be perfect!

Your article should be made with you own technique. When people read your article, they're not reading about what they're looking for, they're reading about you. If they like you, they'll keep reading and they'll trust you. If they see that your just a machine spitting out information, they won't come to you. They have to know that your human and that you have a personality. This personality shows in your writing. When you write, your hands write what's in your soul and you write your passion into your articles. This is how the real article marketers make their money. They create an article that is unique and their own work of art. This makes the article good.

So if you want to make a good article, just start writing. Start writing and soon you'll catch onto your writing technique. This technique will bring you to success.

Article Marketing; Quality over Quantity

I am certainly no writer. Actually to those whom know me I am more of a ranter than anything. I have been writing on and off for many years (started a book on a typewriter back in the 80s). Do I have a style? I have no bloody idea, you tell me. I sure hope I do or else theres pretty good chance you havent even made it this far. I have recently been working closely with an editor friend to refine my limited talents. Over the course of our chats I decided an article about Article Marketing while sounding redundant, would be worth writing.

Not another one of these? Yes, I know there are more than few article marketing pieces out there, I am taking a slightly different angle. We are going to look at what makes a successful article marketing campaign so you can get the most out of a competitive marketplace. Competitive? I thought it was about getting Back Links you say? Thats where it starts to go wrong. The number one most common use of Article Repositories, is usually to get Back Links NOT as the full powered Marketing tool that it can be. This is what I often find short-sighted.

Lets look at some of the benefits and usage for Article Marketing programs; Surf-in traffic; This is really the number one reason. Above and beyond all else a well written article and marketed article will bring you traffic in the short and long term. I get traffic to our sites that came from an article I had written and marketed over a year ago. If you write a well thought out article that has lasting value, it will live out on the internet for quite some time. Traffic is always my goal and this is a major value to Article Marketing.

Link Profile development; This while not a primary focus for me, is a great additional benefit. Search engines, to a certain extent, base rankings from the number of Back Links (or In-Bound Links) a web site has pointing to it. This gives Article Marketing its second value. Through use of proper Link Text and keyword/phrase usage, your Article Marketing campaign can have a positive effect on your rankings and search referrers. For full effectiveness be sure to learn about building your Link Profile ( methinks I should write a Building your Link Profile article FIRST and then link to it. Thoughts?)

Building brand; well written articles and building a body of work will also help build the Brand of your company or yourself as an authoritative figure on the subject matter. This is also invaluable to any enterprise or undertaking. The opposite is also true that poorly written, shoddy or lazy articles can harm your reputation. Do it right or dont do it at all.

Tracking the Articles extra sensory perception

An over-looked area that makes it a true Program is the tracking. Dont just write and article, publish it onto the Dub-Dub-Dub a leave her to float away. How cruel, cold and uncaring. Watch the progress of the article. See how many times it is downloaded and viewed on the publishing site. Search Google for the Article Title in quotation marks, ( eg; My Article Title) to see how many times it was syndicated by other sites. See if anyone has reviewd it or quoted it and send them a thank-you. Tracking will also allow you to see which articles do the best. Now look at the style you wrote it in, the topic and other common factors. Soon you can start to choose topics and styles that will get you the most coverage with each successive article. Fun stuff huh?

Quality over quantity

Certainly a catch phrase these days in SEO (links, content etc), but it does hold true. You see, throwing out a ton of simplistic, non-engaging articles will do little more than garner a few back links. A well written article does so much more and you can even expect MORE back links as the eventual distribution/syndication of the article should be wider due to the lack of quality competitors.

A quality article will also be better received and promoted by the managers of your distribution sources (article repositories, e-magazines, newsletter editors). My number one 'editor in chief' Mark, certainly laments the vast number of pure drivel that arrives on his virtual doorstep every day. If you can entertain the distribution mangers and editors, you have won half of the battle. To that end I would also consider getting professional help. You heard me seek help!. With my SEO Company I keep professional writers around. I let them so what they do best and then my SEO guys do what they do best, optimize the article. Sure it raises my over-all cost, but if you factor in the many benefits of crafting professional work, its always worth it.

The main point is to not look at article marketing as simply another Link Drop. It is far more than that. Make sure you leverage it for all its worth.

Article Marketing - Key Words? What Are They and How Do They Relate to Article Marketing? Part IV

In the previous articles you learned a lot about key words and how they are used as tools by people who are looking for information. Then we found out that just about everything on the internet is tracked. Because of this, we are able to learn more about what people are looking for and we can even see how many websites there are trying to supply information, products or services to the people that are looking.

Let's make up a scenario based on what we have learned and how it would be used in real life. This is just a fictitious example. Let's say I decided I wanted to promote an affiliate program for website hosting. I am just going to lay out for you what my train of thinking would be.

I do some key word research and I come up with 200 key words related to website hosting. After researching those words, I find 30 that aren't looked up the most, because all of the most searched words had too much competition. But I found 30 that are looked up regularly but don't have the huge numbers of suppliers with sites with those key words.

Now I do some research on those 30 words, and make sure I have plenty of good information and get a very strong understanding of the ins and outs of hosting. Then I write 3 articles for each key word, using the key word in the title of each article. I do this assuming that the hosting company that I have chosen to sign up as an affiliate for, has a very good product, and an excellent sales letter already provided for their affiliates (me).

Now here is the magic of article marketing. First, even if I knew a fair amount about my topic before, you can just imagine how much better I know the topic after I have written almost 100 articles. Second, I put a squeeze page in between my article readers and my hosting company.

How do I do this? I write a quick sales letter offering a free report on the ins and outs of choosing a web hosting company. This is easy, because I just wrote almost 100 articles. And now, I get the name and email address of everyone that clicks one of my links in my articles to get the free report before reading the sales letter of the hosting company.

Now you might be asking yourself, did I miss something? Is it really that easy? Why does this work? How do paying customers get to my affiliate link to buy web hosting? Next I will explain this to you from the customer's perspective because that is how you will see just how good it really does work.

What if Dan Iverson could show you how to write about any topic on earth and make money? He'll teach you how to better understand human nature as it relates to e-commerce; how people, from their perspective, come to make a purchase on the Internet. I am talking about learning how you can pick a topic of interest, write about it, and with the right tools and a little research find connections between your readers and real products and services, of which you can become an affiliate and make money. Here is the best part. I will teach you all of this absolutely free. That's right, click on this link and you'll get the full Affiliate Masters Course Free. This is no joke, I promise once you start to read this course, you will see and learn the logical system of affiliate and information marketing. Link Building Services That Work For Your Business

When a web site has been designed and launched everybody starts thinking about how to get links from other web sites and boost their Page Rank (the Google system for putting a value on a web site and the content contained in the site). There are so many different viewpoints currently circulating that it could be said that there is some confusion on the Internet as to what link building services actually work and what things should be avoided. Many people just storm ahead without giving too much thought and planning to this essential site element that they are missing out on a great opportunity to improve both the number and relevance of inbound links pointing to their web site.

The web site structure and site design policies play an important part in any link building campaign and also the relevance of sites that link to you are all part of a successful campaign. Some careful planning needs to go into how the site is constructed in the first place but if you already have a live site on the Internet and feel that it is too late to consider this, have a look at the existing structure and see if any improvements can be made to the navigation of the site so that visitors can reach all the available pages fairly easily. Try not to hide important pages in obscure places but imagine you were visiting your own site for the first time and ask yourself if you could really find everything quickly if you did not already know it was there?

Another big factor to consider is broken links within your own site and missing or removed or changed pages. There is not much point getting loads of links to your own web site if there are a stack of broken links or missing pages within your site content. Web site visitors have quite short attention spans and their imagination needs to be caught within the first few clicks. Try to add interesting and up to date content to the pages with some sharp high resolution images for nice effect.

One way links will always be more beneficial than these link exchange programs that end up giving you loads of so so quality links and require you to have a messy looking links or resources page to cater for providing outgoing links. To gain a good number of one way inbound links then have a look around at the many web directories that offer free and paid submission opportunities. There are some great site linking offers available so make sure you evaluate them carefully and concentrate on relevance.

How to Make Google LOVE Your Site Right Now!

Back in the early days of search engine optimization (SEO) getting top ranking was easy. All the tricks like keyword spamming worked great and there were only a few thousand competing pages for any given keyword at most. Those days are long gone.

Nowadays most of the "good old ticks" don't work and the majority will get your pages banned. This is great news for you. Over the next few minutes I'll show you how to make Google absolutely LOVE your web pages and help you jump to the top!

This is all you need to know... Search engines today place 90% or more of their ranking priorities on content and links. Keywords are still important, but more so in the text of your pages than in any sort of META tags.

Simple, right? It really is. The first step is to find the best keywords and place them just right in your web page text. Next you need to get great inbound links. And finally, you need to monitor your progress closely (and that of your competition.)

Part 1: How to Find the Best Keywords

Google gets more searches than any other search engine so let's peek into their database. Check out https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal and type in any keyword or phrase you can think of that you believe your target audience is looking for. Not only will it give you tons of data on that and related keywords, it will also provide "Additional Keywords to Consider", which is a section at the bottom of the page.

BIG TIP; Try to use specific keyword phrases whenever possible. Let's say you have a web-page dealing with floral delivery. Instead of just the word "flowers", which has 233,000,000 competing pages on Google, try "send flowers", which has 1/10th the number of competing pages. Better still, think like people speak (I.E./ I'm sending flowers to my mom.) As you would soon see, many more people are searching for "sending flowers" than "send flowers" and here's the best part; "sending flowers" has less than 1% of the competing web pages as the search term we started with, "flowers". Now that's impressive! You have an advantage over about 99.5% of your competitors with just that single tip.

Now take the top three or four keywords (and keyword phases) and list them in order for best to second best and so on.

Part 2: How to Develop the Best Possible Content

Content is king! If you take nothing else away from this article, make sure you take this. Producing search engine friendly, optimized real-person content is key to your success. Today's search engines can read a page just like a human would. And thanks to natural text algorithms, the can easily tell if you are writing your pages for real people or just trying to get better ranking. With this tip, you can do both!

First, call a good friend and describe exactly what you want to tell your web visitors. Now write it down, word for word, as close as you can remember it. If you can record it, that's even better.

Now go back through your text and fit your top keyword as close to the beginning of the first sentence as possible. Now place your number two keyword someplace else toward the beginning of your first paragraph. If possible, try to get your third keyword into the end of your first paragraph or the beginning of the second paragraph.

Repeat this concept using only one of your keywords for each of the next three paragraphs. Remember to try to make it a natural fit in the first sentence or two for each paragraph.

Now do the reverse for the very last paragraph. Place your lowest priority keyword near the beginning of the paragraph and then end the paragraph with the most important. This shows consistency.

Finally, try not to repeat any keyword more than three or four times per page. Make it flow naturally.

Part 3: How to Get Great Links and Monitor Your Site

Having quality inbound links can account for more than 75% of you search engine optimization success. Getting these links is the crucial step that will get you over the top. Next you need to monitor your progress and your site's status (how search engine really see it). This will not only tell you not just where you are, but with practice, where you are likely to soon be. In the old days, we used to do all link work and monitoring by hand - and it took a long time (I averaged about 16 hours per week - per site!) My advice to you is to find a good SEO tool and let it do the work for you. If you get the right product, it's the best money you'll ever spend.

I used WebPosition Pro for a couple years but switched to SEO Elite because it has automated linking, which I find to be the most time-consuming aspect of SEO. Both are excellent products for tracking and reporting however.

#1 Pick: SEO Elite http://www.SeoEliteWeb.com Cost = $167 (lifetime free upgrades and no annual fees) My Results: 121 top 5 placements on Google in three weeks - Typically 1's and 2's. Top Features: Finds best link partners; Automates link process; Provides great Site Monitoring Comments: I bought SEO Elite in 2005 and have used every upgrade - never spending another dime. I retired my other three programs after using this for just three months.

#2 Pick: WebPosition http://www.webposition.com Cost = $389 WebPosition Pro or $149 Standard (plus $99 per year subscription fees for either) My Results: 44 top 5 rankings in Google in eight weeks - Mostly 3's and 4's. Top Features: Site Monitoring; Great reporting; Site Critic Comments: I stopped using WebPosition because there were no automated linking capabilities. I did however really like the reporting.

Now you're ready. Good luck!

Online Business - Valuable Marketing Lessons from American Idol

The television show American Idol is once again roaring through yet another blockbuster season on Fox Network. Are there marketing lessons buried within the weekly contest that draws millions of television viewers every week? Yes! The same strategies that creates stars on American Idol can help YOU create some star power for your own online business.

Differentiate Yourself - Simon Cowell is often heard telling American Idol contestants that their performance was "totally forgettable." Well, since American Idol is about more than just vocals - making yourself memorable comes from being talented, original, fresh and contemporary.

The only way to stay alive in the competition is to consistently deliver what the American Idol fans want... week after week. You need to stand out from the pack and stay there. Even as a viewer - when someone asks who was the best on last night's American Idol, it doesn't say much for the show when there isn't a performance that jumps out at you. Often times people are talking more about which performances were down right awful.

Differentiating yourself by showcasing your best gifts and strengths is how you will make yourself memorable - whether you are a contestant on American Idol or marketing yourself online. Your website, your tagline, your email signature and resource box for your articles should all work hard to make your business "memorable."

Play on Your Strengths - So many American Idol contestants try to be sign songs that are out of their range and beyond their talent. It is better to stick with what you know you do well and showcase the best YOU. More often than not, you will hear the judges talk about a song being "pitchy" or "screaming" the lyrics.

Showcase Your Talent - Choosing songs that dramatically show your gifts is a much smarter move than picking a song that is a stretch for your voice, your rhythm or energy level. The same holds true for marketing strategies. Know your gifts and strengths then make them SHINE.

Be Coachable - When Simon Cowell tells a contestant on American Idol that their performance was a "disaster" you can hear the crowd come alive with hisses and boos. Viewers at home may even get their own hackles up and rant to anyone that will listen to just how mean the judges are on American Idol. For most of us, being faced with such blatant criticism makes us cringe BUT just like the athlete pushed by a coach - we learn. We learn to improve our game so to speak. If everyone around us told us what a great job we do when in fact, we are lousy - we will be end up like those American Idol wannabees that show up for auditions only to find out - we can't carry a note!

It really doesn't matter if you are trying to become the next American Idol or make a living online from home - when you get advice or suggestions from others that know more than you, listen. You don't have to give up a piece of yourself in order to learn from others. Stop listen, think it over and take their advice to heart. Be open to learning from others - see things from those more experienced than you.

Take Risks- Each week, at least one American Idol judge will say "you played it too safe" with that performance. If you have ever watched the auditions, you may have noticed people sing one song that isn't well received then ask if they can sing another choice then end up being a contestant. It's all about risk. Unless you are willing to risk looking foolish, you will rarely experience great moments. That is how life works. Until you are willing to ask that girl out or sing a song for the American Idol judges - you will never know if or when the answer will be YES.

For those that love to hate American Idol, remember - the contestants that perform each week might still be in their hometown's simply dreaming of singing their hearts out on the Big Stage BUT instead they took the leap and made it this far in the competition. They are living their dream and giving it their best shot.

For those of us that run a home business or market online - we are pursuing our own entrepreneurial dreams. The marketing lessons learned from American Idol just might get you showcasing your own talents and passions in a brighter spotlight.

Huge Traffic to Your Website

Everyday the world of Internet is growing large. Thousands of web pages are being added to Internet. A great deal of effort is required on the part of Web master to ensure that sufficient amount of visitors to his site. Following are some proven ways to increase traffic to your web site.

  1. Submit your site to different Search engines: This is very important because most of your visitors reach your site through Search Engines.
  2. Link Building: Build Links that are relevant. By relevant, I mean that Links should be placed in such sites, which are immediately identifiable as the same category as yours. Just placing lot of links blindly won't help you. This is because Google's finds your site through the relevant links. If you are placing your links indiscriminately all over the Internet, it will only help to spoil the reputation of your web site.
  3. Advertising through different Classified Sites: Advertisement helps you to gain more popularity among Internet community. Choose some free classified sites for your advertisement and input your web site information during particular intervals.
  4. Write articles: Writing articles related to your subject, which you have in your web site and submit them to different Article Submission sites is a great way to improve the popularity of your site. When you write an article, you can actually embed your site information as a bottom line. This will act like a link for your site where people who read your article can find you.
  5. Quality Content: Content is the core of any web site and it should be of good Quality. By quality, I mean that one who reads the content should find some meaning it or gain something out of it. Moreover, if the content is updated regularly, Search Engines will be motivated to visit your sites regularly.

Targeted Article Marketing - 4 Explosive Secrets Towards Effective Article Marketing

Article marketing no matter how old and classic it may seem to be remains to be an effective and well-trusted instrument by many businessmen and marketing specialists. The dependability and reliability that it possesses makes it still well-loved and trusted. For this reason, article marketing continues to evolve and rejuvenate. Below are some of the explosive secrets of effective article marketing:

1. Know your targeted market and focus with them. The articles that you are going to market will be most effectively written when you know as the writer for whom the article is going to be. By knowing who your potential market is going to be you can immediately think about what is best to be written for them.

2. Prepare the article with the intention to inform and educate your potential market first and then market and advertise successively. By driving these forces to be your core reasons why you are creating these articles, you can make sure that you will be very effective in attaining your core objective - that is to market and advertise.

3. Allow for your articles to be relayed and conveyed. Now that the article has been made, make sure that these are properly published, exposed, and able to generate notice from your potential market. You can have these articles published on some of the leading article directories and sites or you can have these published on your own site. What is important here is that you are able to get the message properly relayed.

4. Monitor and track the progress of your article marketing strategy. This is just like any other marketing schemes should be properly tracked and monitored. By determining the progress rate of your mechanism, you can take appropriate actions whenever necessary. This will help you combat any possible loopholes on your plan and thereby preventing massive failure on your plan.

List Building - What the Heck Is Co-Registration, and Should I Care?

When you think about co-registration, don't think about it as buying "leads." That's a whole different ball game, and has nothing remotely to do with co-registration.

Co-registration is one really great tool for list building, and you should definitely be using it, if you're new to Internet marketing. Co-registration means that you're advertising your newsletter, ezine, special report, or other offer along with other businesses at the same time. Beside each of the offers on the co-reg page is a checkbox, so that people can decide which offers they're interested in subscribing to. Once they sign up via a co-reg form, they're asking to become subscribers to one or several lists at the same time. You'll pay co-registration because the co-reg service advertises for you and guarantees you a certain number of optins each month. It's definitely the fastest way to be list building when you have no list to start.

But there are two things you need to consider. First, do you want the checkbox filled in or left to the viewer's discretion? If you let the box be filled, you'll build your list faster, but the people may just be signing up because they were really interested in something else. If you leave the checkbox unchecked, and make the viewer decide that they want to be on your list, you'll probably have a much more responsive customer; however, this method of list building is much slower.

The other thing you need to consider is whether you want to use single or double optin for your leads. That means they will either get nothing to confirm or that they'll receive a confirmation message from your autoresponder that they'll have to respond to before they become part of your list. Single optin is undoubtedly a faster way to be list building, but double optin will help you to avoid spam complaints.

The quickest way to build a list is undoubtedly with single optin and the checkbox filled in. Is it the best way for you? You'll have to decide when you set up your co-reg account, but you can always go back and change it later.

The biggest issue with co-registration is that the people you're building your list with didn't join because they know who you are and want to be part of your world. They're strangers. So, you have to make them your friends.

Write to them once or twice a week, minimum, and give them great stuff. Send them to free things that they can use and enjoy. Give them tips and tricks you've learned. And then, offer them something you've tried and use every day, but that's not free--an affiliate product. They'll be much more inclined to buy.

Using co-registration is an awesome way to build a list quickly, but you have to decide how you want the co-registration to work and then, you have to train your list to be responsive. If you're new to list building and Internet marketing, you may not understand co-reg and be afraid to try it. You shouldn't be. Co-reg is one of the easiest and quickest way to build a list and you should definitely consider it.

Types of SEO Services

Search engine optimization (SEO) experts have gained popularity these days because their services have become essential in site optimization. Optimizing the site involves the modification of the websites to rank it high in the result pages. Experts provide many types of services to their clients. A wise and normal SEO provider proposes affordable search engine optimization services (SEO services) for almost all small and middle sized companies. However, the types of SEO services can be broadly classified into two categories namely on-page optimization and off-page optimization.

The service of on-page optimization basically deals with fine-tuning the contents in the website. This in turn will make the site rank high in the search engines. The main services included in the on-page optimization are keyword analysis, optimizing website content HTML coding, building keyword rich content, creation of optimized title and META tags, and implementing various separate search engine submission methodologies to promote the website.

Off-page optimization deals with the implementation of a theme-based link building strategy. This results in the improvement of the website in link popularity and reputation. It also ensures that the businesses get only qualified links. For example submitting your site to the top search engines for link sharing will automatically increase the rank of your site. Though there are many distinct features for both these types of SEO services, they are equally important for a website. Without implementing SEO techniques, your site will soon be non-existent on the Internet.

SEO training, consulting, design evaluation and site assessment are some other types of SEO services. Several firms charge a one-time fee where as most others charge the service fee quarterly. There are a number of small businesses which are unable to afford the budget of SEO techniques. Such business should consider SEO tools, or the SEO jump start.

SEO Content Writer: How To Find One

There are many people who still don't identify SEO with a content writer or content writing for that matter. To them SEO is some complicated technical thing that a content writer can not possibly be able to make head or tail of.

This kind of thinking is extremely expensive because it is currently costing many site owners millions of hits. The truth of the matter is that a very important and key part of SEO is the use of the best non-competitive keyword phrases for the particular site. One keyword phrase can produce millions of hits via leading search engines. Keyword phrases are used on the content and that is why it is so important for a content writer to understand the use of keywords, even if somebody else is researching them for him or her.

Hiring a content writer who understands and uses seo techniques can therefore gain you many million hits over a relatively short time. It will also save you the time and money in researching the best keywords for your site yourself, or hiring a different person to do it for you.

Finding a good SEO content writer is easier than you think. For starters carefully trace your steps backwards to how you found your seo content writer. If they used seo methods to advertise their services, then you will be pretty sure that they are experts and know exactly what they are doing.

How can you possibly believe in a seo content writer who does not use seo content writing techniques to advertise their own services?

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) must be considered a process and over time you can build your ranking and traffic.

Remember, Rome wasnt built in a day.

This article provides 10 SEO tips that will build your search engine rank.

1. Title

The Title is (usually) the hyperlink provided in the search results so make sure its people friendly. Put the most important keyword first, followed by the 2ndIf you need to have your Company name there (branding), put it at the end.

2. Meta descriptions

Use the keywords once or twice in your Meta description. It can be the text that shows up in the description area of the search engine results.

3. H Tags (and proper use)

Have your keywords in an H1 tag at the top of your page embedded in a good description. Not only will it help your rankings but many times the search engines will actually display it in their results.

4. Keyword positioning (on the page)

Have your main keywords high up in the page (the higher the better). The most valuable real estate on a web page is top left corner people (& engines) read left to right starting from the top.

5. Number and Quality of inbound links

Each link from another web site acts like a vote of confidence A link implies that the site believes your site has value.

However, all links are not equal. You must get links from sites that have a similar theme to yours ONLY! Anything else may actually hurt your page rank.

6. Linking Text/Description

When building a link campaign, make sure to use keywords in the link. For example, a link with click here doesnt help you with search engines. A link such as Internet Marketing is much more effective (if thats your keyword).

Also, dont forget to use keywords in your linking description as well.

For the most thorough ebook on developing a strong linking campaign read Jack Humphreys Power Linking 2: Evolution! (http://www.money-teacher.com/PL2.htm)

7. Content is King

Not only is quality content what people are looking for, but content is also what the search engines are looking for. Content is basically food for the search engines.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT try to trick search engines with useless content. Not only wont this work, but it will bother potential customers. Also, while you want to mention your keyword, DO NOT keyword stuff. A too high word density will penalize you make it natural.

8. File size

Keep file size as small as possible. It will make for faster loading pages, happier visitors and the search engines like them.

9. Bold & Italic

Its good practice to highlight your keywords in your copy a few times, but dont overdo it.

10. Alt tags in image links

Search engines can read text but they cant see a pictures. Putting in Alt text for a graphic tells the search engine what it is about and also helps people who have their graphics turned off. Make sure to put your keywords in your Alt tags.

Here is an example:

Once your site is optimized for the search engines, you can then start submitting your site. Practice these tips and over time you will see your search engine rank increase.

Quick Article Marketing- 6 Quick Steps to Article Marketing

If you have a website, nothing may be as important to you as attracting quality traffic. One of the best ways to do just that is to use quick article marketing. Article marketing means that you submit articles that are relevant to you website and distribute them online. The result is that people read your articles and then are directed to your website. If you wish to get started in article marketing, here are six quick steps.

1. Write for quality, not quantity. There is so article marketing on the Internet these days, and the vast majority of it is junk. The articles that attract the most attention and rise to the top of online tiers are ones that are well-written, original, informative and interesting. You could submit 100 junk articles that wouldnt do as much for your business as one high quality article that gets a lot of coverage.

2. Have a good headline. The article headline is 90% responsible for how much traffic and distribution the article will get. Keyword optimization always helps.

3. Make sure you include some active URLs at the bottom of your article with your companys name. This will help tremendously in generating traffic and links.

4. Be consistent. Just like any other kind of advertising, quick article marketing needs to be done on a consistent basis to keep generating results.

5. Submit articles to a small list of relevant publishers. This is much more effective than sending them to lots of irrelevant publishers.

6. Keep the articles reasonably short. You want the reader to get to the bottom of the page and see your website link.

Productive Article Marketing Revealed - 4 Comprehensive Ways to Multiply Your Article Marketing

Article marketing is one of the best website SEO strategies that is designed to get free targeted traffic for your website. It works by writing original articles that are related to your target niche and submitting them to various article directories online. These articles are then posted by publishers so other webmasters and ezine publishers can use them for free as long as they keep the resource box that directs online users to your website.

1. The success in article marketing largely depends on the quality of articles your write. In order for your copies to be widely distributed, they must be easy to read, well-written and focused on your target niche. Focus on writing articles that offer solutions as these are the kinds of copies that are often search for by most online users.

2. Choose keyword-rich titles. People search the internet through the use of keywords. When you make your headlines keyword-rich, they will be most likely to be found by your potential readers. To further entice your readers to open your articles, make sure that your headlines are intriguing and attention-grabbing.

3. Keep your articles short. Online users today have shorter attention span and they prefer short articles that are direct to the point and meaty.

4. Multiple the number of your articles. While it it true that the quality of your articles is the number one element that dictates the success of your article marketing campaign, the quantity of your articles plays crucial part too. As each submission grants you one quality inbound link, the more articles you submit, the more links you obtain for your website that can result to increased traffic and of course, sales.

Dynamite Keyword Strategy

Who would have ever thought the key to your success could be in choosing the right words. What the heck is that all about anyway. Well it seems, you have to use carefully selected words called, "keywords" to optimize your website so the big daddy search engine to pay attention to you. Just any old words don't work. You have to use relevant words and or parts of phrases that relate to your site's content.

Well I can see that! What the heck I believe anyone with a little brains could figure that out. I mean, I wouldn't use the word "carburetor" if I was selling candy, now would I? Seems like there is a lot of hallo blew over the obvious. I've seen keyword search programs, articles, and ebooks all about picking the right keyword. I think some people need to get a life.

So if it's such a big deal, what kind of keywords should you use? Duh, how about ones that focuses on what your site is all about? I mean, can't you just see someone putting up a big billboard on the side of the Interstate. Huge letters saying "STAY IN SAN DIEGO" when they are selling Omaha Stakes. Maybe people would respond to the San Diego thing, but they would probably be disappointed when it was Omaha Stakes instead. I mean there's nothing wrong with San Diego, but I think fresh Omaha Stakes are imported there from - Omaha.

Hum, maybe a little reverse physiology is in order. If San Diego is more apt to get their attention then it's a matter of wording. Like "There's nothing like a fresh Omaha Steak on a Barbe in San Diego."

Another thing, what the heck is all that "search engine ranking" about? It's not hard enough to get prospects to visit your website, you have to satisfy the search engines also. That's right, forget about the prospect, make that search engine is happy. Who thought that one up? Someone who is getting very rich, that's who. So who is the most important, the prospect or the search engine? You can have the best product in the world but if the search engine doesn't like your wording, forget it. How the heck did we get into this situation in the first place? Now we play by Google's rules or we don't play at all. True there are a few other search engines, but let's face it, Google is bordering on a monopoly.

By Google's rules, one correctly placed keyword produces better overall search engine rankings than if keywords are just generally placed. They also say both targeted and general keyword types will help the site maintain a high ranking. Isn't that special. You not only have to have the right keywords, but you have to have them in the right places. Cripe, I just want to sell my goods, that's all. I'm no Yale grad. or anything like that. I have a good product and I need customers, without the big boys wanting to muscle in. They used to call it the Mafia, oh I'm sorry, there wasn't any Mafia either.

The freedom of the web, yeah right as long as you play by their rules. And get this, the use of the right keyword placed strategically across your website is a big factor in determining whether or not you rank high in a search like, oh yeah, Google, Yahoo or Microsoft. So buckle down and get with the program.

So, what keywords are most useful?

Set down and put the old brain to work. Figure out which keywords are the most common in relation to your site's content and theme. The Big Daddy Search Engine Optimization tug-a-war begins with the first word but does not end with any set number of keywords. But that's not enough, the correct density has to be used, like around ten to fifteen percent but you could probably get by with up to twenty five percent. So use words that are relevant to your website, but don't use too many, no - no you'll get a slap on the hand.

So Just How Do You Choose the Best Keywords

Well here we go, what is your website all about? Put your brain to work, and write down the most popular words pertaining to your website that comes to mind. Make sure they are words regular people would use in searching for what you have to sell. No tricky, geeky stuff here. Just remember there are targeted and general keywords. You might know what you're selling but Joe Blow doesn't until you inform him. Make the words simple but direct. With all that said, write them both down and check them against your website. You can underline or put them in bold, but get them in there in the right density for effect. You can use one word from three to five percent with no sweat. Just don't go overboard, the search engines will think you're spamming if you get too dense.

In Conclusion:

Cater to the search engine's rules, pick out words that go with what you're selling. Do some brainstorming, and get on with the project. Oh yes, try a few search words yourself and see who turns up. Hay if they're good for your competitor, why not you?

Happy Trails.
