Internet Marketing - Book Profits With 6 List Building Techniques That Pay You Every Month

If you've been trying to make money on the Internet for any length of time, you've heard it a hundred times; the money is in your list. A good list can earn you about a dollar (or more) for each subscriber EVERY MONTH! If you are just starting out, you can easily generate 200 to 300 subscribers per month.

There are many methods that you can use to quickly grow your list. I've found it very effective to give new subscribers an Internet marketing book. (Internet marketing is a very large category that encompasses a number of Internet related topics.)

Using this technique, my Internet marketing book, entitled, 'Make Money Every Day' adds 300 to 400 subscribers to my list each month. When you consider that each subscriber is worth about $12 per year, the numbers can add up rather quickly.

To build your list, use a squeeze page that is designed to do one thing, get the name and email address of your visitor. You do this buy offering them something of value in exchange for their contact information. It can be a free Internet marketing book, or ebook, a subscription to your newsletter, or anything else your visitors may be interested in. The important thing is that your giveaway item is valuable enough to entice them to sign up to receive it. Following are a number of techniques that you can use to expand your list (as well as your income).

1. Google Adwords. This is one of the fastest methods to build a targeted list. It is important to choose very targeted keywords and never bid more than you can afford. Once you have set up your ad it can begin to appear within hours and start bringing you traffic shortly thereafter.

2. Write articles. Submit articles to the large article directories. Make sure each one contains a resource box where you will include a link advertising your squeeze page and the freebie visitors will receive. This works best if you submit at least one article per day.

3. Post regularly on forums. On each of your posts, include a signature file that includes your squeeze page and the free giveaway that you are offering.

4. Classified ads. Use free and/or paid ads to entice traffic to your squeeze page.

5. Blogs. If you have a blog, add an advertisement and a sign up form to your blog.

6. Trade ads. Trade ads with other websites. You place their ad on your site and they place your ad on theirs. This ad swap is done for free of course.

Remember, in order for this to work, you must give your visitors something of value. I generate almost 400 subscriptions per month using a free Internet marketing book. Develop a give away that is specifically targeted to the interests of your visitors and watch your subscription rates soar.

7 Techniques Guaranteed to Increase URL clicks

We write articles to benefit our readers. The resource box is designed to benefit the writer. Everyone wants to be compensated for the work that they've done, even writers. The resource box is the writer's only possible payment for the work that you've put into the article. That's why it is important to place a well-crafted resource box that sells your website, service, or product. Using the seven techniques described below can increase your URL clicks and improve your chances for receiving fair compensation for your work.

1. Make sure you ask the reader to take action. The first rule in sales is, Ask for the order. Merely stating your name and website is not effective. Instead of: Authors name has operated website xyz on a full time basis for three years. Be more assertive, use the term visit, go to, or click on. The example above would get a higher response rate using Visit website xyz

2. Provide an offer for free information. Offers that provide immediate gratification such as a downloadable product work the best. Make sure that the freebie you provide does a good job of selling the reader on the item that you are promoting.

3. Describe your free offer in detail using a sentence or two. Make sure you tell the reader how this item can benefit them. Stress how the download (or your website) will benefit the reader and how it can solve their problems. This can be particularly effective if the article discusses the problem your link (or website) solves.

4. Give your free download a name that implies that it has value. Free report on is better than sales brochure; free information on is better than sales information.

5. Do not try to be cute or clever, use a direct offer that stresses the benefits.

6. Track your results. Keep records on how many responses you get from each resource box. Refine your best responding offers to fine tune and maximize your response rates.

7. Mention the features, stress the benefits. A feature is a physical description of the product or service; a benefit describes the advantages in using that product. Sell the benefits; paint a picture for your reader. Make an emotional appeal so the viewers can actually see themselves using your product. Features interest the reader, benefits sell the product.

By using the seven techniques described above, you can be assured that you will maximize your opportunities for some sort compensation for your articles.

Article Marketing For Targeted Traffic Online

Article marketing has become one of my favorite forms of traffic generation, because of the targeted nature of the traffic it produces. You see, it is not extremely important to me to get tons of traffic, if that traffic is not targeted, and does not need what I have to offer.

When I first got started online, I used article marketing to generate search engine listing, and became very quickly number one for several different keywords.

The problem with those keywords, though, was that they were low volume keywords. My guess is that if they had been high volume keywords the strategy would be almost impossible. So the bottom line is, I wasnt getting traffic from those keywords. A little, but not enough to go full time online! And I needed a full time income online.

But the craziest thing happened I started testing groups of article directories, and finding that certain groups of directories pulled much higher responses like 100 times the response of other groups. So I continued breaking them down into smaller and smaller groups until I came up with like a big three and the results are phenomenal! I am getting as much response per article as I was submitting to 100 directories so I have been able to take that free time and put it to use writing more articles. I challenge you to do the same thing I think you will find that if you are only submitting to the big three that your article marketing efforts will be much increased! That is exactly what I do and I find that the targeted nature of the traffic makes it much more responsive.

In this article you will learn the exact steps to create a quality article and distribute it over the net to get permanent incoming links to your website and quality targeted traffic.

People are frightened of doing research. You need quality content to create an article. The first step to create a quality article is to do a thorough research on the topic of your website.

You can easily do this by visiting search engine like google.com and article directories like ezinearticles.com

These sources have the power to give you hundreds if not thousands of pages of information on the topic of your website. Just read few articles out there, generate ideas and from these ideas create your own unique article of around 500 to 600 words.

Arrange your article in point format, create headline, header and footer and attention pulling resource box with a link to your website.

This will make sure to get you a unique piece of article created within an hour.

The next problem writers face is that it is extremely time-consuming to submit articles and spread them on hundreds of websites. The solution is simple.

If you have lots of time but no money then you can research around hundred article directories and submit your articles manually. Once you have researched these directories it should not take you more than a few hours to submit your articles to all these directories.

If you do this on consistent basis, I am sure you will never ever worry about getting hundreds of targeted visitors to your website on a daily basis purchasing your products and services. Make sure you get started today. You can thank me later.

Simple and Yet Easy Way to Get Free Advertising

Why Should You Write Articles?
Newsletter and website owners are desperate for content. They will normally do a regularly search on those relevant articles, looking for quality information that will help their readers. In each article you have written, you could publish them with your information and a link to your website.

Why should you be giving out these articles free?
Lets imagine, you will normally need to pay to include your ad in a newsletter or popular website. It could be in the range of hundreds. Would it be nice to have your ad placed for free instead? Look at the bottom of this article, you will see some information with my website included, so you have proof that this method do work.

How do you write an article?
The article could be short and simple but with some valuable contents. I am not a Literary Genius either. So, just start to pick up something you know about, or a challenge that you faced, and start writing. Just do it!

What should you include at the end of the article?
Of course, you should include your name. In addition, you should also mention something that is interesting about you or your website, as well as your website link. You could also include some freebie or special offer if you have one. However, do note that this area should not be used to sell any of your products. The aim here is to get the reader to visit your website.

Article Marketing - High Quality Lead Generation

Article marketing is my favorite form of lead generation, and I imagine it will stay that way for some time to come. The biggest thing with article marketing, and one of the reasons I think the market is so wide open, is that article marketing doesnt produce massive numbers of leads and thats what so many people are looking for.

We get bombarded with ads for leads for cheap, or leads 1000 at a time but we should all know by now that they are very poor quality leads. But with article marketing, the leads are a much higher quality lead. They are, in my testing, as much as 10 times more responsive than search engine generated leads and that is huge.

People have been trying for years to outsmart the search engines and they really dont need to they just need to write articles.

Anyhow, that is the way I feel about it.

So why are article marketing leads so productive? I think that one of the reasons is that article marketing prescreens the leads before they get to you the person reading the article has the option of just clicking out, you dont get charged for the click, like with ppc.

I think also that there is a psychological impact of reading your article, then reading your squeeze page by the time they get a few emails from you, they have really developed a bond with you and I think that that is real important.

10 Tips For Choosing an Online Article Ghostwriter

More and more businesses are discovering that hiring ghostwriters to write online quality articles for them is one of the fastest and best ways to drive traffic to their websites and enhance their professional reputations.

For your own business, you might want to consider this: These online articles, written by ghostwriters, are possibly the best types of links you can get to point to your website. Because the readers have read the articles and clicked on your link, they are highly targeted visitors who want more information about what you can do for them.

In other words, not only does your ghostwritten online article lead visitors to your site, it also pre-sells those visitors by giving them a reason to find out more.

Here are some tips to help you choose the right ghostwriter to help you build your online presence with quality online articles:

  1. Make sure your ghostwriter knows how to incorporate search engine optimization (SEO) techniques with your article. This means the writer must have an understanding of how to include your targeted keywords into the text so that your articles will be picked up by search engines like Google and Yahoo. There are many ghostwriters who know how to write, but know nothing about how to get high search engine rankings. Choose a writer who can help you get more traffic in addition to writing your article.

  2. Does the writer know HTML code? Can he or she embed your key words into links in the article so that they point to several different pages on your site? Is that writer's HTML proficiency enough to make the article's layout look appealing to a reader's eye and to avoid making it have a "big block look" with lots of unbroken text. Remember, just publishing the article is not enough if readers don't read it.

  3. Make sure your ghostwriter has a track record and samples of articles you can see and read. Has this writer published his or her own articles online at sites like ezinearticles, searchwarp, articlecity, goarticles or any of the other big article banks? Not only will reading this writer's own articles give you an idea of that person's writing skills, it will also show that the writer understands the concept of article marketing.

  4. Can the writer write like a native speaker of the language? Most of the time you will want these articles written in English because this language still dominates most of the article banks and newsletters. Of course a writer does not have to speak English as a primary language in order to write flowing prose. But many people have paid low prices to have an article written by an inexpensive ghostwriter only to receive an article that is written in a choppy, awkward syntax. Again, you can avoid this by seeing the writer's own articles if he or she has a website and has written articles for the online article banks mentioned above.

  5. Is the payment arrangement reasonable? The common practice is to pay half the writer's fee up front and only pay the remaining half after receiving the articles. Understand that the writer still holds the copyright to these materials until you have paid the entire fee, and it only transfers to you when the final payment has been made. But be wary of someone who wants it all up front, just as a writer will understandably be wary of you if you only want to pay after the articles are written.

  6. Are the ghostwriter's fees ridiculously cheap or outrageously expensive? You get what you pay for in all areas of life. You should expect to pay a minimum of $50 to $75 for a well-written article with SEO techniques. On the other hand, for a very technical article that requires a lot of research, you should expect to pay as much as $150 or more. Even at the high end of these ranges, you are still getting a very good price for an experienced writer who can often get $1 per word for commercial writing work (these online articles average about 500 words so at these rates you are paying between 10 cents to 30 cents per word). If you go after the bargain basement writer, you will get bargain basement results.

  7. Does the writer finish the project in a timely manner so you don't have to wait weeks and weeks for your finished articles? Another reason to check the writer's status on article banks like ezinearticles is that you will see if this writer is prolific enough to write quality articles quickly and have them back in your hands in time to do you good. Check to see if the writer has achieved special status with the article banks like Platinum Writer or Expert Author. These designations will help you determine if this writer can produce the output fast enough, without sacrificing quality, to suit your needs.

  8. Does the writer's fee include re-writing? As long as you gave the writer clear directions about the content you wanted, reasonable rewriting should be part of the fee. As a writer however, I have had to put my foot down on a few occasions when the finished article came back meeting the original instructions given to me and the client just changed his mind and wanted a whole new type of article written. In those rare instances (it has only happened to me twice) I insisted on a new fee for a totally new article. But ordinarily, you should not have to pay more for a little rewriting within the scope of your original instructions.

  9. Does the writer package the work in a reasonable number of articles? This means, writing several articles on the same topic all at once. I generally feel that a minimum of ten articles on the same topic is needed for the project to pay off for me and for the price to be reasonable for the client. This way, all my research is spread over ten or more articles and I can price my work accordingly. Besides, writing one article at a time will not make a significant impact on the amount of traffic you get to your site. Depending on how much competition you have for that keyword, you will probably need 20 or more before you start seeing significant gains in the number of visitors coming your way.

  10. Does the writer have an online presence other than just an email address? You want to avoid someone who can only be contacted by email. So you should be able to see an actual website owned by the writer, have a telephone number and be able to read samples of this writer's other articles. When someone actually has a website, you have more assurance this person is a committed business person who is not likely to take your up front money and disappear. A well thought out website indicates someone who takes a professional approach to being a freelance writer.

Online articles are powerful and fast ways to drive traffic to your website. Working with a good ghostwriter can greatly improve the process and deliver results to your bottom line faster.

Vetting Your Press Release

Making a living from the world of writing means taking extra care to thoroughly examine what you have written before finally releasing it. When I have any document to write, I generally will write it and edit it in one sitting but save my most important final edits for another time. By separating this last measure, I usually come up with something that sounds clearer and reads better.

I have been on a surge these past few months having penned more than 15 press releases for six different customers. To date, each release has been satisfactorily written and submitted to separate press release sites.

One area of vetting which isnt as apparent is the usage of anchor links within the release. Across the board, all major press release companies require that a separate fee be paid for the privilege of including anchor links. This fee can range from $30 to $200, a small fortune for some small businesses.

Recently, I nearly saw one of my releases delayed by a full day because I used links without paying for the upgrade. Once I was alerted to the mistake, I quickly made the correction and resubmitted. The release was still able to go out on time.

The moral of the story? You can write a jam up press release but remembering the various submission requirements for each distribution company can be a job in and of itself. I would have hated to see the release delayed and it could have cost me an important customer. Fortunately, the reminder from the distributor and my quick action averted what could have been a disaster.

One more step to consider in the press release vetting process.

How To Do Internet Marketing Without Your Own Website

Did you know, you can run an Internet marketing business without a website of your own? In this article were going to show you how to make money online and do it without ever setting up a website of your own.

This may sound a little absurd, because when you go online you are either trying to send e-mail, or you're surfing the net, landing on one website or another. There are two ways you can make money on the Internet without having a website of your own.

1. First of all, you will need an auto responder where you will collect names and e-mail addresses to follow up in the future. You will also need your autoresponder to be pre-filled with a series of messages promoting any product that you want to sell.

2. In this example, we were are going to have you become an affiliate marketer. An affiliate marketer gets paid to sell other people's products and therefore they do not need a website or products of their own.

Many affiliate merchants will provide you with a series of messages, you can plug into your autoresponder. These will be coded with your affiliate ID, leading to your affiliate sales website where your product is listed. Now you earn a commission every time someone buys a product.

3. Doing it this way all you have to do is promote your autoresponder e-mail address and let the system to all the selling for you. You can run classified ads in various e-mail newsletters known as e-zines.

In these ads, you can place your autoresponder address and when someone is interested in what you say, they can send a blank e-mail and let your autoresponder get back to them.

You can still do various Internet marketing advertising techniques. For example you can do article marketing and write articles talking about some of the benefits and features of your product. The difference is in your bio box you will list your autoresponder e-mail address instead of your website.

You can do forum marketing and in your signature file, place a small classified ad with your e-mail autoresponder address at the end of it. Again, someone could reply by sending a blank e-mail if they're interested in what you had to say.

This is one idea how you can make money online without a website of your own. There are many more ways to promote online and affiliate marketing again offers some of the best avenues, but an auto responder is very versatile as well.

Do Your Readers Wish You Would Stop Writing Articles?

For a lot of us, writing articles can be a chore. Even if you don't gnaw on your nails in the fear of breaking grammatical rules, the thought of churning out even one 700+ word article per week is probably daunting. Imagine writing one per day!

So we search for tools and aids to help us break the writer's block. We hope that we can produce a brilliant discussion that grips the reader with its profundity. We labour over the topic of the article and sweat bullets over every paragraph.

But is there a more effective and easier way?

Concentrate On Effectiveness, Not Wordiness

Does your marketplace require all articles to be thorough discussions of the subject matter? Think about it.

My reading habits (and there are a lot of people who read like me) may prove differently. The sheer volume of information that we have to process now forces us to take a different approach to our reading.

More and more we scan the material, seeking the nuggets from the body of text that catch our attention and that seem worthy of careful consideration.

Get To The Point Already!

That would explain why concise bullet points are very important parts of communications - they get the message across quickly.

That's why writing quick tips is an increasingly powerful strategy. Extracting the substance and offering a tip instead of a lengthy article demonstrates your grasp of the topic - it takes good understanding to boil ideas down to their essence and communicate them quickly.

More and more readers will appreciate this as it saves us valuable time and allows us to return to our business of implementing the solutions.

Beat The Article-Writing Demon Into Submission!

While those who are haunted by visions of articles refusing to be written may be determined to conquer the demons and become skilled at producing lengthy articles on demand, you can relax in the knowledge that there's another way.

Take one thought at a time, one practical 'how to' snippet and explain it in a brief tip. Say what has to be said and nothing more.

Create a short tip article made of primarily bulleted points. Circumvent your blank page blues.

You can be sure your readers and your previously fearful heart will thank you for it.

Are Meta Tags Dead?

People say that the use of meta tags are dead, a useless addition to your web site, but are they wrong? Meta tags still serve a useful purpose in every web site. Even though not all search engines utilize these tags they still hold extremely important information about your web site and it's content.

Not only do meta tags tell a search engine spider about your web site, it also provides instructions telling the spider what you would like it to do and not do.

First let's look at what meta tags tell us about your web site:

The first tag in your meta tags should be your title tag, in my opinion this is the most important tag you can control. This tag should state your company and no more then 3 key words that pertain to that page. An example of this is

<TITLE>SEO ONE, inc. Search Engine Optimization, Internet Marketing, SEO.</TITLE>

Keyword tag should be the next in line of importance. This tag is fairly straight forward however there are rules on how many keywords you should have. The rule of thumb is around 10 but I recommend no more then 3 keywords. The reason for this is the more keywords you have the more difficult it is to keep the weighted average where it needs to be above 54%. It also becomes difficult to match the keywords in the site to the keyword meta tags. An example of this meta tag is

<META NAME="KEYWORDS" CONTENT="Search Engine Optimization, Internet Marketing, SEO.">

The 3rd in succession should be your description tag, in this tag we want to describe the web page we are on, and again we have another opportunity to list our 3 key words for this page. This is important do not over look this. It is also critical to keep the order the keywords appear. An example of this tag is

<META NAME="DESCRIPTION" CONTENT="SEO ONE, Inc has mastered the search engine optimization code. Search engine optimization SEO is the art of preparing, analyzing, and promoting your web site so that it is extremely visible and highly ranked. Search Engine Optimization, Internet Marketing, SEO.">

Now we are onto the part of the tags that tell the search engine what you would like for it to do with your web site. These tags are also critical as we can in some cases direct the spider through your web pages.

<META NAME="ROBOTS" CONTENT="INDEX, FOLLOW, ARCHIVE, all">

This tag tells the search engine you would like it to visit your home page, follow all linked pages, and cashes all pages it passes through. This is important because it allows the engine to store your site in it's data base.

<META NAME="revisit-after" CONTENT="7 days">

In this tag we tell the spider to come back to our web site every 7 days to search for more content. As a web page changes the content needs to be re indexed in order for it to be relevant. This tag can help us with this point.

There are many more tags, and more detailed information about the tags above, however I only wanted to give a general overview as to the importance of the above tags.

Article Marketing and Traffic Building - 4 Practical Pointers on Increasing Your Customer Base

One way in which article marketing can serve your overall business interests on the Internet and World Wide Web is assisting you in traffic building your website. Towards this important goal, there are four practical pointers that you should bear in mind when it comes to increasing your traffic and customer base through article marketing.

First, with your well written, timely and topical articles you can include links back to your website. Provided you do prepare and create interesting and informative articles, you will find that an ever growing number of people will click over to your website after reading your articles.

Second, you can place your articles at article marketing websites or on ezines that bear some sort of more natural connection to your website and your business. This will be another technique through which you can increase traffic to your Internet website.

Third, you can utilize article marketing as a means to connect directly with potential customers. In this regard, you can send informative and useful articles to individuals that are on your opt-in email list. Time and time again this technique has proved effective at drawing people to your site with increasing regularity.

Fourth, article marketing can be used as a means of more generally promoting your business, website, products or services to a broad audience. This can be accomplished by making certain that you widely distribute a significant number of your articles on a regular basis.

5 Proven Strategies for Filling Your Marketing Funnel Part 2

This is the second of a two-part article on overfilling your marketing funnel and client pipeline.

Last week we discussed that, in order to quickly fill your funnel and pipeline, you will want to have these 5 tools:

1. Unique Selling Proposition
2. Attention-grabbing, memorized elevator speech
3. Client attractive website
4. Effective business cards
5. A full practice mentality

Now that you have those, you want to implement strategies that will result in clients coming TO YOU rather than you having to chase after them.

1. Brand yourself.

Branding isnt just for megacompanies like Coca-Cola or Pepsi. In order to build a relationship with your prospects, you want to brand yourself and remain consistent in that brand.

Do you have a logo? A tagline? Your photo? A certain masthead? Specific colors and fonts? What feelings do you evoke when someone looks at your materials? What feelings do you WANT to evoke?

They used to say it took between 7 and 10 times of someone seeing something before they had any recognition of it. In todays information age, Im sure the number has increased make it easy on your prospects by branding your business.

2. Niche yourself.

Some people are huge proponents of niching while others feel it doesnt makes a difference. The truth is it depends on the type of business youre in. You will find that your clients may begin to niche themselves over time

Perhaps most of your clients are women or men. Maybe they are primarily in real estate or a certain age group. Perhaps they all have children or maybe they are predominantly entrepreneurs.

A niche is any defining feature of a group. It does not need to be the industry they serve or the business they are in as long as you can group them.

3. Keep in touch.

Whether you send an email or printed newsletter or holiday and just because cards, find reasons to keep in touch with your target audience.

Offer to speak at their events and let them know whenever you do something new. Ask for their referrals.

4. Create materials that pull.

All of your marketing materials should talk about what you can do for your prospects and what you HAVE DONE for your clients results-based testimonials are great for this.

By showing how you solve problems, you will draw prospects into your funnel rather than always selling and turning them away. You wan to focus on the results and benefits, not the features of your services.

5. Tell everyone.

You want to tell *everyone* what you do get in the public eye as much as possible using press releases, writing articles, attending networking events, etc. to insure that your business does not remain the best kept secret.

Just starting? Send a letter (or email) to your friends and former colleagues letting them know that you have just launched a business and directing them to your website or to call you for more information.

Make your marketing easy by creating systems for as much as the above as possible and, once youve created your brand, you want to consistently brand EVERYTHING you do, say and produce.

Even now, when my business continues to grow by leaps and bounds, I keep my marketing funnel full by insuring that I perform at least one marketing-related activity every single day. Consistency is key.

SANDY NOTE

In preparing for the launch of my new home study system (Im not quite ready to share details) and finishing up my website copy in addition to working with my coaching clients, Ive been working more hours than usual.

It caught up with me this weekend when I realized that I hadnt met a personal deadline. In stopping to reflect on what happened, it suddenly hit me I havent taken any Sandy time since early May. DUH!

Those who know me well know that I LOVE Whole Foods Supermarket and go every month (the closest one is about 45 minutes away) I havent been in a few months. My precious Sasha (thats her to the left) may need hip replacement surgery so we havent been going for our early morning walks and date night with DH has been replaced with band practice night. :-)

No wonder my creative juices werent flowing as smoothly as usual! Ive taken away some of the things I enjoy most and forgotten to replace them with other fun stuff!

If you find yourself busy, but not productive or otherwise being held back, take a few minutes to reflect on the why and address it as necessary.

I hope you enjoy todays fresh new article -- the second part of how to overfill your marketing funnel and client pipeline.

The Advantages of SEO Training

It is estimated that at least 340 million people use search engines to find products and services every day. That's a lot of people. The top search engines use link popularity to decide which sights come up first when you do a search. Wouldn't it be nice if your website came up at the top of the list? It is a possibility with search engine optimization, or SEO. With the right SEO training, you can be on your way to a more successful business and much higher web traffic.

Before you start SEO training, you should first understand what SEO is. SEO basically means optimizing the results of a persons search on the web to lead to your website. When someone does a search, say on google.com, they type in a keyword and start the search. The search results then list several websites that fit the category of the search. The top websites are always listed first. Hence, the person doing the search is more likely to use the websites listed first. With the proper SEO training, you can learn how to make your website be listed at the top of the search engine lists.

SEO training can be provided through many different means. A great deal of people receive their SEO training at special seminars. These seminars can last several days and vary in price. Some are as low as $300 and some are as high as $1500. These seminars usually have limited seating available so sign up as soon as you can. There is also SEO training courses offered online with downloadable SEO training material. Most online SEO Training courses are self paced, so you can learn it at your own pace for a set price. There are even some free courses offered online as well.

Most of these courses teach the basics of SEO. This includes: learning how to use link popularity, keyword usage, and marketing techniques that can work best with SEO. Some courses even teach you how to start your very own SEO business, which has become quite popular in the recent years. Many of these SEO training courses offer certification in SEO so that you may officially start an SEO business.

All SEO training courses guarantee that with completion of the course, you will have a dramatic increase in your website traffic. Some say as much as a 500% increase. For business owners, this means a lot more money. If you are interested in SEO training, get on a search engine and see what results you get. The top websites listed are sure to be the ones that used search engine optimization. If it works for them, maybe you should give it a try.

4 Tips On Creating Fresh Article Content

Producing articles to create back links and generate traffic has been a long time favorite of most internet marketers. Continuing to generate fresh article content is one of the burdens faced when using this form of marketing. How can you look this problem in the eye and continue to produce what you need? Read on...

The first method in locating fresh topic ideas is by reading articles related to your business to find if anything has been left unanswered. Surf some of the larger article directories like Technorati or Amazines read some of the more recent articles to spot a lack of information. While you are scanning through these articles be sure to write down any pertinent ideas you generate. You may find helpful tips and tricks while you are searching which is just an added bonus.

The second method revolves around answering your own questions to create articles. If you have come across topics of interest that you have questions on then research to find your answer. Once your research is complete, you can create an article sharing what you found. If you can not think of any questions, you may find when you are reading through articles in the first method presented, that questions will arise any how. You will be benefiting yourself from the additional knowledge and chances are you will be answering a question for your readers too.

The third method is to read through your previously written articles. The more you the sharpen your writing skills will become and the more defined your topics will be. If you pull out some of your earliest work you will probably notice that many of the topics are very broad. Generate new articles by narrowing your subjects and answering them more specifically. Readers tend to gravitate toward highly focused content as nine times out of ten they are seeking an answer to a question or concern they have.

The fourth method is based on surveying readers and forums to locate hot topics. If your business has been around for sometime and you have a large email list then send out a note to your readers to see what it is they would like to have answered. If you want to boost your response rate, offer them an incentive to reply such as a discount on your product or service. If your firm is new and does not have this type of list then head to the forums to find ideas.

Forums are generally set up as a form of question and answer sessions for their readers. Review several forums and make a note of themes that your see. Are you finding that readers continue to ask the same questions only to be given vague answers if any? Research the answer and create your article. Later on, you can revisit these forums and write a message letting them know that you have written an article to address the topic. Many forums will not allow you to blatantly place the link in the subject area so put it in your signature. Reread this article any time you bump into writers block and run through each step to continue your article series.

Article Marketing - How to Write an Article When You Don't Have Time to Write an Article

Some days I feel like I just turn around and the day is gone. I dont think I have time to write, most days, but I some how do manage to write almost every day.

When I first get up in the morning, I find I have about twenty minutes before anyone else gets up, calls me, or figures out that they need my attention for whatever given topic they want me to do. Twenty minutes isnt long, so I have to get whatever Im going to do, done fast.

There are several methods of Article Writing Starting Processes that work well for me:

1. Start a list of topics

2. Add sub-topics under each topic

3. Add more topics and expand each sub-topic into more sub-topics

4. Write a paragraph about a topic.

5. Write down a quote about a topic.

6. Write down any thoughts on a given topic.

7. Write down a thought about where you got the topic idea.

All of these go into a single Document File, and I pull random ideas from the list, if Im stuck for a topic or writing idea. Beyond these, I use a spiral to jot down ideas when Im not at my computer. I have a small box by my computer where I put slips of paper that I list ideas and topics whenever Im not at the computer and dont have the spiral. Im always and forever, calling myself to leave a message --- TOPIC IDEA.

Literally, If I sat down and wrote constantly for two months, I dont think I could ever run out of ideas.

Once I have ideas, the writing goes fast:

1. Write a working Title

2. Ask a question.

3. Answer it with a referral to your article.

4. Write your specific format - tips, paragraphs, or thoughts.

5. Ask your reader if you can help them find an answer.

6. Write a quick referral and link to your site.

7. Copyright your article.

Youre done!

Best Article Marketing - 4 Steps to Supercharge Your Article Marketing

The first step to win the hearts of your potential clients when doing internet marketing is to offer them information that they will find useful and communicate your expertise on your chosen niche. When you are able to help them by imparting your specialized knowledge, you will most likely to win their trust and easily convince them to do business with you. One of the most effective ways to do just that is by writing and distributing your articles online.

Here are the 4 steps to supercharge your article marketing:

1. Quality. This is the first element that you must seriously focus on to ensure that your articles will be read, picked up, and widely republished. Strive to give your readers well-written articles that are not only easy to understand by content-rich as well.

2. Titles. Your titles can either make or break your article marketing campaign. As this is the first element that your readers will be able to connect to, it is of outmost importance that you make a good impression on this part. Your titles must be able to stir the right kind of attention online that can drag people to open and read your content.

3. Empathize. If you are like most marketers who are offering product to offer solution to the pressing issues of your target market, it would help to show your concern and desire to help to your potential clients. This is to make them feel that you are genuinely concern about their welfare and it is your mission to help them.

4. Keywords. Your articles, no matter how well they were written will be left unread if no one can possibly find them online. Make your articles highly searchable by using the most searched keywords within you target niche all throughout your content.

Getting To Know Google

Having greatly benefited from my relationship with Google in the past several years, I am dedicating this article to the search engine superstar.

I have to be brutally honest and relay that our friendship hasn't always been rosy. I got to know Google several years back, when it was just a small fish in a big pond. I started to analyze its every move and realized that Google is a fickle, clever and extremely mysterious being. Still, I decided to get more acquainted. Here are a few things I learned along the way.

When it comes to logic, Google is the queen

In other words, avoid participating in anything that may blacklist you from this search engine, including keyword stuffing, link farms and hosting 50 "sister" sites on the same server. Keyword stuffing doesn't refer merely to the content of your site, but also the alt tags, headers, URLs and any additional areas of your web site.

Google likes to stay focused

When optimizing the individual pages of your Web site, try to hone in on one or two relevant keywords per Web page. Analyze each page and identify which keyword would be most suitable.

If you decide to optimize for two keywords per page, make sure that they are similar in context. For example, if you are optimizing for the key phrase "insurance leads," you may also consider optimizing for "insurance sales leads" within the same page.

Google loves to travel

It is commonly known that Google loves links, both inbound and outbound. When it comes to search engine optimization, lots of research has focused on inbound links, but little has focused on the number of links on an actual page. It appears that Google favors sites that have several internal and outbound links over those that don't have links.

If you have any doubts about this theory, simply do a search on any high-volume keyword or phrase within this search engine and analyze the first few sites that come up. Notice how the majority of them have numerous internal links on the main pages of their Web site.

Google is popular and expects you to be, too

The more popular your site is across the Web, the more Google will favor you. Obviously, having several high-quality inbound links to your site is key in achieving higher rankings. When identifying Web sites for inbound links, target the ones that are highly relevant to your site. For example, if you run a jewelry site, look for sites that are purely informational on the topic of jewelry or gemstones. Also, make sure that the sites you decide to partner with have a good PageRank (at least a 5) and online presence.

To save yourself a lot of hassle, conduct a keyword search relevant to your business and target the Web sites that show up on the first and second pages of Google (weeding out the competition, of course); contact the Web masters of those sites and tell them about your company and find useful ways to compensate them for adding your company's information on their site.

If you have an affiliate program, don't be shy to pitch it. If you have an online advertising budget, offer them a pay-per-click deal or monthly advertising fee for promoting your Web site. Note that partnering with these sites or purchasing ads should complement your overall marketing and business development strategyand not be used merely to get link value.

Google gets bored easily

Regardless of whether your site is informational, e-commerce or just a sophisticated version of a business card, having quality content is crucial for search engine optimization. Adding to that factor is how often you update your site's content.

If you run a site that has new content added on a monthly basis (do not overdo it), then eventually the Google "freshbot" will start visiting your site more often and index your new content into the database. The more content you update, the more Google visits your site and indexes it quicker. Do not refresh your content simply for search engine optimization purposes, but do take the effort to keep interesting articles, blogs and entries to keep your visitors coming back.

If you haven't already noticed, keeping pace with Google is not an easy undertaking. It takes a certain level of knowledge, skill and creativity to truly benefit from this relationship. The rest is up to the stars.

Website Promotion With Free Article Marketing

If you have never used article marketing when promoting your website you have been missing out on a valuable tool in internet marketing. Article marketing is an effective way of creating backlinks and drawing attention to your online business.

What you need to take advantage of the opportunities in article marketing is either some basic writing skills or the resources to hire someone who has those skills. Then what you need to do is write useful articles related to your websites niche. As an example, if you have a website that deals with antique automobiles you might want to write articles on the topic of auto restoration. Generally you will want to keep your articles in the range of 400 to 600 words.

Prior to writing your articles you should determine the keywords you are targeting and use those in the article itself. That way the search engines can pick up on them and their relevance to your website. Try to place those important keywords within the first and last paragraphs of the article you are writing. By writing in this manner you will gain the interest of surfers interested in your niche and that of publishers and webmasters also.

The part of the article that allows you to gain a backlink to your website is known as the resource box. This is an area at the end of the article that allows you to tell a little about yourself or your website with a link. You generally want to keep this to a three to five line blurb with one line about yourself and one or two about your website. That should cover it and get them interested enough to click through the link.

You might be wondering how this will assist you in getting traffic to your site. One way is by allowing other websites to use this content for republishing on their sites with resource box and all. Whenever someone uses that article to build content on their own site it will give you one more link and free online exposure which is how article marketing works.

To really leverage your article marketing efforts you should submit your article to the major article directories such as Ezine. These larger article directories get traffic from webmasters looking for content to use on their sites and will allow your article maximum exposure. Whenever someone uses an article from one of these article directories part of the terms of use is keeping the resource box intact. As your article is used in the future it will continue to build backlinks to your website for years to come

If you are thinking of using article marketing in a more specialized niche you can offer exclusive articles to a few websites for publication while including a link back to your website. Make sure to mention that the offer is unique and you will probably get a high acceptance rate.

By using these article marketing techniques in conjunction with web directory submissions you can gain additional exposure and traffic to your website.

The Authority Web Directory is a vital resource in every online-marketing campaign. Begin your link building effort here by visiting our Submit URL page.
